You must activate your DNA kit to see your results. Your unique activation code is what we use to identify your DNA sample. For privacy and security, your DNA sample is only identifiable by the activation code, not your personal information.
Your unique activation code is located on the sample collection tube. The code is a combination of 15 numbers and letters. (You don't need to enter the hyphens). You can also find your activation code on the sample tube packaging, and in the instruction booklet for your kit. NOTE: If you ordered more than one test, please make sure you activate the code for your DNA sample.
Each person over the age of 18 must create their own account and activate their own kit. You can invite other Ancestry users to view and collaborate on your account from your "DNA Test Results" page.
